This was one my favorite things to see upon entering the South Plains:
Beautiful. Of course, it would be so much better if the cotton could be twice this size, but it's still alive at least! For my friends from Pennsylvania and New York, that's how flat we're talking about here in West Texas.

Things I miss from PA:
But as much as I loved the beauty of the Pennsylvania forests and mountains, I could never choose them over wide-open spaces and Texas sunsets.
